The Spartan Oracle.

Josiah DeBruno
Hi, my name is Josiah DeBruno and I’m a senior here at Orcutt Academy. I have five older siblings and have lived in Santa Maria my whole life. Before Orcutt Academy I was homeschooled from grades first through eighth. This will be my first year being a reporter for the Spartan Oracle. Through the Oracle I hope to report on the sports of this school and write insightful articles about popular sporting events around the United states. I play football, soccer, and track at our school and like watching those sports as well. I also enjoy going to the beach with my friends, surfing with my older brothers, and playing with my cat Ziggy. I am also proud to be apart of FCC here on campus and I love to help freshmen find their way around campus and assist them throughout their first year at Orcutt Academy. After highschool I hope to continue my academics at a four-year university in California and major in Kinesiology. After college I will want to use my degree to get a job as either an athletic trainer or athletic director. I’m excited to report on news around the campus and to be apart of OA’s journalism team!
