As of recently, February 26, a message was sent out from Woods Twitter account which read, “Tiger and his family want to thank you all for the wonderful support and messages they have received over the past few days. We will not have any further updates at this time.” Along with this, Woods was also moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for recovery following his surgery. Some doctors have said that this injury may prevent Woods from playing for a while, but people close to Woods have said that he is in good spirits about what is ahead.

Woods is currently tied with Sam Sneed for most PGA tour wins with 82 wins over the course of his career. Along with this, he is also ranked 2nd for number of majors won with 18 wins. While Woods is obviously hopeful to get back to playing, various doctors have noted what it will take to get himself back in shape to play. Due to Woods’ various injuries the rehabilitation process may take a long time, even years, and some doctors such as Dr. Firoozabadi has said that even after rehabilitation Woods may barely be able to walk. As of now, we will just have to wait and see how the rehabilitation process goes and hope for the best.
