One hot topic these past couple of months is whether or not theaters should remain closed because of Covid-19. Many people argue that it is unsafe for theaters to stay open because of the dangers it could cause. After all, people would be sitting in close proximity from each other for hours at a time. So therefore, you could see why some people would argue that theaters should not open up until the coronavirus is dealt with. However, theaters around the US have done it, and now a new schedule nationwide has been set. Starting late December, theaters will open up four days a week. (hours will vary depending on theater) This new schedule has been set in order to premiere larger scale movies that can not afford to open up on streaming such as, Wonder Woman: 1984, and Dune.
So what do you think is a smart decision? Or will it only increase covid cases and cause more problems than solve issues?
