Chavez, being a captain and past MVP gives her thanks to her coach Brian who has taught her so much through her four years on varsity and believed in her to always improve. “He was a crucial part of my growth not only as a soccer player, but as an individual in life.”

With the new season beginning, tryouts are also an event to be viewed on. Tryouts are starting in November and there is nothing but excitement from the team and coaches. Four-year varsity  senior, Taylor Martinez shares advice for incoming freshmen interested in trying out this year, “don’t be intimidated by anyone else and just play to your potential; leave it all out there on the field.”
