Every year artists from all over the world participate in Inktober, a month-long challenge in October in which people create one ink drawing every day emphasizing a unique word. This year our very own Arianna Vauclin, an AP art student, is one of the participants. With the word being “poison”, Ari drew an amazing witch in the spirit of Halloween.

 

The sixth day’s word was “sword” and Ari drew a great depiction of the Headless Horseman.

 

For this specific day, the word was “crooked”, and Ari drew a daunting forest of crooked trees.

 

The word “run” caused Ari to draw a man running out of the picture being chased by a mummy.

 

Another great piece of art by Ari, this one not being apart of Inktober, but the skull and snakes is an excellent example of Ari’s skills outside of ink.
