The Spartan Oracle.

Kayla Pablo
Hello! My name is Kayla Marie Pablo and I am a seventeen-year-old senior attending Orcutt Academy High School. I was born in the capital city of Naha on the island of Okinawa, Japan in 2002. When I was four years old, my family and I moved to Santa Maria, California where we have been living ever since. Currently, I participate in several school activities including the varsity tennis team and the NHS, CSF, and FCC clubs. Additionally, for the past four years, I have also been volunteering at the Marian Regional Medical Center and have acquired over 800 total hours of community service. As a first-year journalist, I hope to contribute my thoughts and opinions on the daily happenings around school. Specifically, I would like to focus on discovering new stories about the Orcutt Academy teachers and updating the high school students on the latest activities of the school’s clubs and sports. In the future, I hope to pursue my love for learning new languages and hopefully become fluent enough to be a traveling interpreter or translator that can help people all around the world.
