Super Bowl

This Sunday, Super Bowl Fifty five will be kicking off between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The two biggest stars in the fight for the Lombardi Trophy is the Buccaneers Tom Brady, the six time super bowl champion, and the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, the rising star who won last year’s championship and game MVP. In my opinion, I think that the Chiefs will bring home the trophy for a second year in a row. First off, in the last matchup between both of these teams, the Chiefs were able to come out victorious and a quick look at the stats can explain why. The Chiefs led in the Buccaneers in total yards, 1st downs, and possession time and more. Mahomes led Brady in passing yards 462 to 345, with Hill also beating Gronkowski. Even with the score ending at a close win for Kansas City 27 – 24, the Chiefs were clearing the better team this game, and it would be hard to believe that the Buccaneers would be able to match their intensity in the upcoming duel. Some might try to argue that the Buccaneers have more experienced players than the Chiefs, but I don’t see that as a big enough advantage that could push them over the edge for victory. No matter the outcome, I’m sure the game will be entertaining as most Super Bowls usually are, and is an event that will bring joy to many during these hard times.
