With homecoming week well underway, ASB president Nathan Calhoun shows his

excitement towards this upcoming dance and has big expectations for this year’s Homecoming. Although Nathan is president, planning and putting together homecoming week and dance was a group effort, consisting of the many hard working students on  the ASB team.

This year’s theme is “Mount Olympus at Moonlight” and was chosen because of its originality and planned to be fun atmosphere. Last year, 366 tickets were sold and Nathan says that his new goal is to sell at least 400, which should be a reachable goal. Ticket prices are $30 and $20 with an ASB sticker.

Homecoming week activities include a ping pong tournament, a Hercules push up contest, and a potato sack race. The goal of this years  homecoming rally is to be a fun interactive event, made up of many class competitions. ASB member, Clayton Merril, says Homecoming won’t just be the dancing, there will be board games, a lounge, and a coat check-in as usual. Homecoming will also have a new DJ, DJ LoKynObi, and ASB member Dante Surra says he is excited for this change and thinks he’ll do a great job.

Last but not least we have our homecoming football game vs. Frazier Mountain at Pioneer Valley High school, starting at 7pm. ASB and the whole football team urges you to attend both the game and the dance!
