February 14th, a day for couples to be over affectionate without question and singles to hate them more than usual. Valentine’s Day has its cons, but more good things come out of the day filled with roses and creme filled chocolates.

Valentine’s day is one of the days out of the year for couples and families to show how much they love and appreciate their significant others. Although not for everyone, Valentine’s Day is an important holiday that comes around every year. First off, there’s chocolate, you don’t need a bae to have a great Valentine’s Day. Go out and buy yourself some heart shaped treats and a dozen roses and spend the day binge watching your favorite TV show. The best part of Valentine’s Day is the week after when all the chocolaty hearts and V-day candy goes on sale. Everybody loves walking into their local drug store and seeing all the stuffed bears and conversation hearts with red tags and 50% off signs.

Though it is exciting, Valentine’s Day isn’t just about cheap candy and roses. February 14th is filled with couples and families showing their love for each other. You don’t need to make a big, over the top gesture to give your significant other a great Valentine’s Day. Sometimes a nice card with a meaningful note inside or a homemade dinner can be the perfect way to show someone you love them.
