On November 15th, the Drama Class here at OA had a celebration after their big production. From November 9th-11th, the Drama Class put on their production of Sherlock Holmes and the Siege of 221b, and afterwards, it was simply a time for rest. Let’s see what some of them had to say about it:

Tim Wilkins played Inspector Lestrade in the drama production, and his favorite part was the theatre in the middle of the floor, and being able to see the audience all around him.

Emily Hinkle, the stage manager, shared that her duties consisted of setting up the stage, making sure the actors and props were in their correct place(s), and maintaining the set as well as the backstage.

Brad Samuels was the Lighting Lead, which if you don’t know, is a lot of work. Samuels also expressed that the round theatre stage was his favorite part because it was something new.

Nevin Hamilton, playing Alistair Harvey, told the Spartan Oracle that the most challenging part of the production was learning his lines.

Carlson Sturgeon, playing Imogene Scott in her first ever high school play, had a lot of fun practicing and said it was a thrill to develop such a different character.

Thanks to the Drama Class for such a fun experience! We can’t wait to see what you have planned next!
