Tetris

Play This: Tetris

Tetris is a fun puzzle game from the 1980s. It is well known for it’s addictive gameplay and catchy theme. The game revolves around the player having to clear a set number of blocks at the bottom of the screen as puzzle pieces fall from the top. Tetris forces you to use both your mind to solve the puzzle, and your reflexes as you only get seconds of reaction time as the puzzle pieces fall. If you want to play a fun retro game and give your mind a little workout, Tetris is the game for you!

David Bowie

Hear This: Starman by David Bowie

This David Bowie classic off the album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars” is a real mind blower. It starts out slow and soft, with an almost somber tone, but quickly speeds up and becomes upbeat and positive. This dynamic track is great for relaxing, or getting pumped up. Be sure to check it out, it’s a masterpiece!

Frosted Flakes

Eat This: Frosted Flakes

Ah, Frosted Flakes, while they may not be the healthiest breakfast option, they are definitely one of tastiest! The cereal itself is pretty much the same as corn flakes except that Frosted Flakes are coated in powdered sugar, which gives the cereal a really sweet taste. If you’ve never had Frosted Flakes, I suggest you check them out. In the words of Tony the tiger, “They’re Grrrrrrrrreat!”

King Kong

Watch This: King Kong (1933)

The original King Kong from 1933 is a masterpiece of cinema. While many of the effects may be dated by today’s standards (they were groundbreaking for the time) the movie is still a spectacle to behold. As for the story, it’s a creative take on the timeless beauty and the beast theme. A monster from a lost island falls in love with human woman and is unleashed on to New York City. There’s not a lot more I can say without giving too much away, so if you want to know more about one of the greatest films of all time, you’ll just have to watch it yourself.
